I actually think that globalization had a tremendous impact on cultures and traditions, of course, because globalization is in general a great thing. It led us to come in and take more, even with people on the other side of the globe. However, I think that even though it did bring back different cultures and nations together, it kind of erased some of the traditions in a way that somehow become blended, I would say. For example, well, I think it could be counted as a globalization well here in Kettleston. Children, young generation, just in general, the people are more interested in western culture, are more interested in getting out of the country, and everybody here learns English because that’s the way to improve and enhance your life. And it led to the thing that the young generation, especially, is not really interested in learning about their own culture and traditions because it’s considered as something useless. I think it did kind of have negative impact on it, but of course it’s because it’s just people.
