I believe social media or media includes a person's perspective of different cultures and how the marketing is planned out. For example, in our country, Cambodia, we have marketed ourselves as the Kingdom of Wonder, with Angkor Wat being the centerpiece of this spectacular historical temple. But to market this and, sorry to be more prideful of this monument, we tend to forget other parts that can be monetized or marketed to influence perceptions of different cultures, like our culture, for example, the way people live, the traditions, and the culture we have, including clothing, etc. There are so many ways that people can do this. Social media nowadays is a big influence and a significant factor that can help broaden the reach, unlike before when most mass marketing needed larger budgets.
