Today I want to share about a fascinating place I have visited with my friends during our school days. The place I am talking about is Shukha lake located in Chandwigarh, Punjab. I went with my close friend Aman. Actually Aman’s maternal grandparents lived in Mohali. Aman visited them quite often and this time she invited me to spend the weekend with her at her grandparents place. We decided to explore Shukha lake on Saturday evening. It was a pleasing evening in July and the weather was perfect for a leisurely stroll. At Shukha lake we rented a paddle boat and enjoyed a relaxing ride on the scenery waters. We also walked along with the Prama Granite admiring the beautiful sculpture and artworks. We clicked a lot of photos, tried some street food near the lake and even fed the dogs swimming in the lake. Shukha lake is captivating because of the peaceful ambience and scenaric beauty. The view of the sunset reflecting on the water was mesmerizing. The lake also offers various recreational activities like boating, jogging tracks and making spot, making perfect place to unwind and have fun with friends. My visit to Shukha lake with my friends was a delightful experience. With a lot of joy it’s a place that holds full memories for me and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enjoyable outing.
