I would say family is really important in my country, and we have some historical context for that. During the dictatorship years, one of the biggest values of our dictator was family and traditional family values. The community had this understanding of family as something unbreakable. Even today, in our democratic society, I feel like Portugal is a country that truly values family and continues to see this as a very important aspect of society and our country, of course.
