Is it a bad idea to check our mobile phones while we are eating? I'd say it depends on the reason for that. We check our mobile phones. Let's elaborate on that. For example, some people are used to checking their messages and calls while they are eating. When they encounter a bad message or repetitive calls, it can make them anxious or stressed out, ruining their enjoyment of eating. On the other hand, some people tend to use their mobile phones to watch a movie or a video on YouTube while they are eating, to unwind and enjoy the moment, mostly for relaxation. In this case, they are not negatively affected by using mobile phones.
