Band 7+: is it important to like the people you study work with why

Your pronunciation is very good. Aim to refine subtleties and intonation to further improve.

The answer directly addresses the question by discussing the importance of liking people you work with, and it provides a clear rationale by considering different personality types. The response is well-structured, with a balanced view that acknowledges both sides. To improve, you could add a specific example or personal anecdote to make the answer more vivid and natural, but overall, the response is coherent and fully developed.

The answer is well-organized and coherent, with a clear structure: it presents a balanced view, gives a personal example, and then contrasts it with an alternative perspective. The response flows naturally with minimal repetition or self-correction. To improve, consider adding a brief concluding sentence that directly ties back to the question, and use a wider range of cohesive devices (e.g., 'on the other hand', 'in contrast') to enhance coherence.

The vocabulary is appropriate and precise for the topic, with good use of phrases like 'depends on your character', 'gets motivation from its environment', and 'ignore what's going on in the outside world'. There is some repetition of 'motivation' and 'goals', which could be varied with synonyms like 'drive', 'ambitions', or 'objectives'. Overall, the lexical range is good but not fully flexible. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

The grammar is mostly accurate, with a good mix of simple and complex structures. There is a minor error: 'from its environment' should be 'from their environment' (pronoun agreement). The sentence 'it's important that I work with the right group of people' is slightly awkward; it could be rephrased as 'it is important for me to work with the right group of people'. Overall, the range is adequate, but more variety in sentence structures would push the score higher.
