Band 6+: Is smoking in public places legal or illegal in your country

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The student provides a clear and relevant answer to the question, stating that smoking is legal in Bangladesh. They express their personal opinion on the matter, which is appropriate. However, the answer could be more detailed by mentioning specific examples of where smoking is allowed or prohibited. For example, they could mention if smoking is allowed in restaurants or on public transport.

The student speaks with a few hesitations and repetitions, but overall the flow of the answer is quite good. The student uses some cohesive devices like "because" and "which" to connect their ideas. However, the answer could be more fluent and coherent with smoother transitions between ideas. For example, instead of saying "It is really suffocating because Dhaka City is already quite polluted", they could say "Dhaka City is already quite polluted, and the fact that smoking is allowed makes it even more suffocating."

The student uses a good range of vocabulary, including words like "suffocating" and "regulation." However, there are a few instances of less precise language, such as "tends people to light, um, up about anywhere." The student could use more specific and accurate vocabulary to express their ideas more effectively. For example, instead of "tends people to light, um, up about anywhere", they could say "allows people to smoke almost anywhere."

The student demonstrates a good grasp of grammar, using a variety of sentence structures. However, there are a few minor grammatical errors, such as "There is no virtual regulation or law against in smoking." The student should pay attention to prepositions and articles to improve their grammatical accuracy. For example, they could say "There is no real regulation or law against smoking."
