In my perspective, it depends on the person. Some people prefer to have many friends because they enjoy quality time with them or learning many things together. On the other hand, some people prefer a few friends because they are introverted. They don't like to talk too much with people around them. So I think both are good, but it depends on the preferences of the individuals. That's all.
