My hometown is Pskov; it is located in the northeast part of Russia near St. Petersburg. It is a rather small town; however, it is quite old and has a lot of history. I like the architecture of my hometown; there are many old buildings, some of which are well-preserved as they were originally built. There is a castle and many parks that are quite colorful during autumn and summer. There is only one thing that I don't quite like about it: it is not big, and everybody knows each other. That's why there are few places where you can hang out with your friends. Everything is broken. How important is your town to you? My hometown is quite dear to me because it reminds me of good times when I was young and carefree. It also reminds me of the times when we got together with my friends.
