I'm going to talk about a painting that I really want to have in my house. It's called 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' by Johannes Vermeer. This painting has always fascinated me with its simply beautiful and mysterious quality. It was painted on canvas around 1665. I really want to have this picture in my house for several reasons.
