Cultural traditions are very important to our society as they keep people together and keep values in our minds. In the contemporary world, people have reclated the cultural traditions. I don’t know what’s the cause but they’ve ignored it. But looking at it, it’s important, I think they should be adapted as they keep people together for the same vocation, marriage tradition. They keep people together as during the lobola setting a lot of people come together, they know each other, they respect each other. That makes the two that are being united to be respectful to the family, to know all the members of the family. However, adopting the cultural tradition into the modern society is something that is impossible. There are a few members of the the society who are still aware of these cultural traditions and a lot of due to globalization a lot of things are coming in a lot of cultures are coming in so we don’t know our culture because it has been mixed so knowing that this culture is so important.
