Yes, I definitely think that people rely too much on smartphones nowadays. It is true to say that smartphones have become an essential part of our daily lives, not just for making calls or sending messages, but also for social media, navigation, and online shopping. While they make many tasks more convenient, this can become excessive. For instance, some people check their phones constantly, even during meals or when talking to others, which can negatively affect personal relationships. I can say for sure that smartphones nowadays are used just for surfing the net and checking unhelpful information during mealtime or on public transport, which makes it uncomfortable for the people they are traveling with or those who are on the bus.
