Firstly, it might create social unrest due to financial instability, as people become frustrated and feel excluded from society. Secondly, when they do not have equal opportunities, education and other resources are not accessible to them. Lastly, this inequality can result in a high crime rate in society and lead to a loss of trust in the government and other institutions as well.
