Band 7+: what are the benefits of listening to music

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer is quite good and covers the key aspects of the question. Consider expanding on the types of music that offer these benefits and providing specific examples of how music helps with relaxation and energy. Adding a little more detail would elevate the response.

The answer is coherent and mostly fluent. Minor repetition of "It helps us relax" could be avoided by combining the two related points. Consider using more sophisticated linking words to improve the flow, such as 'Furthermore,' 'Moreover,' or 'In addition to.'

Vocabulary is adequate but could be more precise and sophisticated. Instead of 'takes the negative things out of the mind,' consider using phrases like 'alleviates stress,' 'lifts one's spirits,' or 'provides emotional release.' 'Gain energy' could be replaced with a more nuanced term like 'invigorate' or 'rejuvenate'.

Grammar is mostly accurate, with a minor error in the phrase 'takes the negative things out of the mind' (should be 'minds'). The sentence structure is simple but effective. Using more complex grammatical structures, such as passive voice or embedded clauses, would enhance the response.
