Band 7+: What car do you like

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer stays on topic and directly addresses the question by stating a preference for electric cars. It provides relevant details about environmental benefits and features like spaciousness and efficiency, which shows some elaboration. However, the response could be more natural and native-like; for example, the phrase 'I'm inspired by electric cars' is slightly formal, and the ending 'Thank you' is unnecessary in a speaking test context. To improve, consider using more conversational language and expanding with personal experiences or reasons, such as mentioning a specific model you admire or how you would use the car.

The answer is well-organized with a clear structure: stating preference, giving reasons, and concluding. Cohesive devices like 'for instance' and 'moreover' are used appropriately. However, the answer is quite short and lacks elaboration, which slightly limits the demonstration of sustained fluency. To improve, consider adding more details or examples, such as specific models or personal experiences.

Vocabulary is appropriate and precise, with terms like 'environmentally friendly', 'renewable resources', 'spacious', and 'efficient'. The phrase 'sense of satisfaction' is good but could be more varied. To reach a higher score, incorporate more sophisticated or idiomatic language, such as 'cutting-edge technology' or 'zero-emission vehicles'.

Grammar is mostly accurate with a mix of simple and complex structures. The raw answer has a minor error: 'it will give me' should be 'they will give me' (referring to 'cars'). The refined version corrects this. To improve, use a wider range of structures, such as conditional sentences or passive voice, and ensure pronoun agreement throughout.
