Band 8+: What color would you choose to paint the walls of your home?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

This is an excellent response. The answer directly addresses the question and provides a well-reasoned justification for the colour choice. The addition of the detail about balancing the blue with warm tones demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of interior design and adds depth to the response.

The answer is coherent and well-structured. The slight stumble in mentioning "hot pressure" instead of "blood pressure" is minor and doesn't significantly impact fluency. The connection between the color choice and its effect on sleep is clearly explained. Minor improvements in phrasing could elevate the score further.

The vocabulary is sophisticated and precise. Words like "furnishings" and "fabrics" show a good range. The slight inaccuracy in using "hot pressure" instead of "blood pressure" is a minor lexical issue. Using more varied synonyms for "blue" could enhance lexical resource.

Grammar is mostly accurate. The sentence structure is generally correct. However, the phrase "it is believed, guaranteed the best night sleep" is slightly awkward and grammatically less precise. Replacing it with "it is believed to guarantee the best night's sleep" would improve grammatical accuracy. The use of "warm use" is also slightly unclear and could be improved to "warm tones".
