Well, this is an interesting question for me. I can say that I never use light colors in my home because they can hurt people's eyes and cause headaches. Colors like red, blue, green, purple, and yellow, I think these are too light for a home.

That would definitely be red, specifically the large splashes of red, because I think red is so stimulating color, it sometimes makes me feel agitated, anxious or sometimes depressed. For this reason, I guess red is not easy home color to relax.
