Band 6+: what do street markets sell

Your pronunciation is average. It is understandable but not always accurate. Focusing on the rhythm and stress patterns of English could prove beneficial.

The answer is directly on topic and provides a clear, natural response to the question. It lists common items sold at street markets (fresh food, vegetables, clothes, handmade crafts) and adds a relevant detail about fast food and local delicacies, showing a willingness to elaborate. To reach a 9, you could add a bit more variety or a specific example, but the response is already strong and well-developed.

The answer is coherent and organized, with a clear list of items. However, there is a slight hesitation ('Well') and a minor self-correction ('history' to 'handmade craft' is not explicit but the word 'history' is an error that disrupts flow). The use of 'And sometimes' is a bit abrupt. To improve, use smoother transitions and avoid unnecessary fillers.

The vocabulary is basic but appropriate for the topic. There are errors: 'free food' should be 'fresh food', 'history' is incorrect (likely meant 'handicrafts' or 'antiques'), and 'deli-kid' is a mispronunciation of 'delicacies'. The range is limited; consider using more precise and varied vocabulary like 'produce', 'artisanal goods', or 'street food vendors'.

The grammar is mostly accurate with a simple sentence structure. There is an article error: 'a variety of things' (missing 'a'). The phrase 'even stall you can grab' is awkward and ungrammatical; it should be 'at stalls you can grab'. The answer would benefit from more complex structures, such as relative clauses or conditional forms, to demonstrate a wider range.
