Personally, I feel the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines is one of the greatest scientific discoveries in the last 100 years. It's primarily because it was a significant breakthrough needed for society, as we had seen a large number of people dying due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To tackle this situation, we had to come up with a solution to mitigate this issue, and we developed a vaccine called COVID-19, which was a huge success at the time. Because of this, many lives were saved.

Pronunciation

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

Task Response

The response addresses the question directly and provides a relevant example. To improve, consider discussing a broader range of scientific discoveries and elaborating on their impact beyond immediate applications.

Fluency & Coherence

The response is generally coherent, but there are some instances of repetition ('COVID-19' mentioned multiple times) and slight hesitations. To improve, try to vary your sentence structure and use synonyms to avoid repetition. Practice speaking more smoothly and reducing pauses.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary is adequate but could be more precise and varied. Words like 'breakthrough' and 'mitigate' are good, but the response could benefit from a wider range of vocabulary related to scientific discoveries and their impact. Try to incorporate more specific and descriptive language.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The grammar is mostly accurate, but there are a few errors ('introducing of COVID-19 vaccines' should be 'the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines'). The range of structures is somewhat limited. Focus on using a wider variety of grammatical structures and double-checking for accuracy, especially with articles and prepositions.
