I would say it's a bad influence on local languages and dialects because, in my personal opinion and from my personal story, I don't really remember the old words that my grandma used. The words my grandma used and mine are not the same. In each century, and even in each year, we can say that we have different dialects and different ways of speaking, not like the others. So I would confidently say that our languages and our dialects are vanishing slowly, slowly.
