Band 6+: What is one skill you would like to learn in your free time?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer is on-topic and directly addresses the question by identifying a skill (improving English) and providing a clear reason. It also includes a personal example, which shows willingness to elaborate. However, the response could be more natural and concise; some phrases are slightly repetitive (e.g., 'I would like' used multiple times) and the final sentence is a bit vague. To improve, consider varying sentence structures and providing a more specific plan or outcome for learning the skill.

The answer is generally coherent and organized, with a clear introduction, supporting example, and conclusion. However, there are some issues with fluency: the phrase 'In my short time' is an awkward substitution for 'spare time', and the answer contains some repetition (e.g., 'it was very hard' said twice). The use of cohesive devices like 'Especially' and 'All in all' is appropriate, but the flow could be smoother with less self-correction and more natural linking. To improve, practice using a wider range of discourse markers and avoid repeating the same idea.

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, with some good attempts at precision (e.g., 'improve how to speak fluently', 'native speakers' in the refined version). However, there are noticeable errors and imprecise word choices: 'in today's morning society' (should be 'modern society'), 'with my speakers' (should be 'with native speakers'), and 'I tried this experience' (should be 'I had this experience' or 'I tried this'). The range of vocabulary is limited, and there is some repetition. To improve, expand your vocabulary for common topics like learning and communication, and practice using collocations correctly.

The grammar is mostly accurate, with correct use of past tense ('I tried', 'I spoke') and conditional structures ('I would like to'). However, there are some errors: 'In my short time' (incorrect phrase), 'today's morning society' (incorrect word choice), and 'with my speakers' (incorrect possessive). The sentence 'Essentially I tried this experience' is awkward and could be rephrased. The range of grammatical structures is limited, with a reliance on simple and compound sentences. To improve, practice using more complex structures such as relative clauses, conditionals, and varied sentence openings.
