I've just finished a book called Animal Farm. That's a popular one among adults in my country. I purchased it from a nearby bookstore in my town, and it was really interesting. Of course, the tone is political. It discusses the chaos in society and the mistakes that politicians often make. I read the book in English, as I mentioned I'm an English teacher, so whatever information I receive should be in English. The book was readable, interesting, and informative at the same time.
