Lotus tea is absolutely my favorite drink of all time. It attracts me a lot with its amazing smell and light, fresh taste. In addition, it is really popular for Vietnamese people to drink tea and coffee because, as you know, Vietnam is a top country in terms of coffee exports. Besides that, iced tea is also a well-known drink; you can call it a traditional drink in Vietnam because people enjoy it while chatting together.

Task Response

This is an excellent response that fully addresses both parts of the question. The description of lotus tea is engaging and provides a clear reason for the preference. The answer also accurately reflects the prevalence of tea and coffee consumption in Vietnam, offering additional relevant details about iced tea. Consider exploring a wider range of drinks in your country to further enrich your responses in future.

Fluency & Coherence

The answer is well-structured and coherent. The speaker fluently describes their favorite drink and connects it to the prevalence of tea and coffee in their country. Minor repetition could be avoided for a higher score (e.g., 'amazing smells and light and fresh tastes' could be streamlined).

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary is rich and precise. Words like 'attracts,' 'amazing,' 'light and fresh tastes,' and 'well-known' demonstrate a good range of vocabulary. The phrasing is natural and sophisticated. Consider using more varied synonyms to show a wider range.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

Grammar is mostly accurate, with only minor issues. The sentence 'It attracts me a lot by its amazing smells and light and fresh tastes' could be improved by changing 'by' to 'with'. The use of 'for Vietnamese to drink tea and coffee' is slightly awkward; 'for Vietnamese people to drink' would be more natural. More complex grammatical structures could be incorporated for a higher score.
