Band 6+: What is your job

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer is on-topic and directly addresses the question. It provides a clear job title and elaborates on the reasons for choosing this role, which shows a willingness to expand beyond a simple response. However, the response could be more concise and natural. The repetition of 'I can' and the somewhat circular reasoning (e.g., mentioning learning English multiple times) make it sound slightly less polished. To improve, consider structuring the answer with a clear main point and then a couple of supporting details, avoiding redundancy. For example, you could say: 'I work as a foreign trade manager at my father's company. I chose this role because it allows me to develop my language skills and contribute to the family business, which is both challenging and rewarding.'

The answer is generally coherent and easy to follow, but it contains some repetition and self-correction. The phrase 'The reason is I'm working as a foreign trade manager because' is redundant and could be streamlined. The answer would benefit from more logical organization, such as stating the job first, then reasons, and using cohesive devices like 'firstly' and 'secondly' to structure the response. Avoid repeating 'learn English' and 'improve my English'.

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, with some good phrases like 'foreign trade manager' and 'improve my skills'. However, there is a lack of precision and flexibility. For example, 'do many sales' is not idiomatic; 'make many sales' is better. The phrase 'my father wanted to me' is incorrect and should be 'my father wanted me to'. The answer could be enhanced with more varied and precise vocabulary, such as 'international trade', 'negotiate with clients', or 'expand my professional horizons'.

The grammar is mostly accurate, but there are some errors. The most notable is 'my father wanted to me' which should be 'my father wanted me to'. Also, the sentence 'The reason is I'm working as a foreign trade manager because' is grammatically awkward and could be simplified. The answer uses a limited range of structures, mostly simple and compound sentences. To improve, use more complex structures, such as relative clauses or conditionals, and ensure all verb forms are correct.
