Band 4+: What is your job? Where do you work? Why did you choose that job? Is it a popular job in your country? Do you like your job? Do you get on well with your colleagues? What was your first day like? What responsibilities do you have at work? If you had the chance, would you change your job? Do you plan to continue with your job in the future?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The response addresses the initial part of the question by clarifying your current status as a student. However, the answer contains logical inconsistencies that affect the coherence of the response. For instance, stating that you are a student but then mentioning you are passionate about your 'work' and want to compete with 'ours' creates confusion regarding your current professional situation. To improve, ensure that your answers are logically consistent. Since the question is a series of prompts, try to address the specific points raised, such as your field of study, or explain why you haven't entered the workforce yet, rather than providing contradictory information.

The answer is extremely short and fails to address the vast majority of the multi-part question. In IELTS Speaking Part 1, while you don't need to give long speeches, you must provide more than one or two sentences to demonstrate fluency. You also failed to use cohesive devices to link your ideas. To improve, try to expand on your answers by providing reasons or examples (e.g., 'Since I am currently a student, I haven't entered the workforce yet, but I am studying...').

The vocabulary used is very basic ('enjoy', 'passionate', 'open the business'). There is also a significant semantic error in the final sentence: 'competes with ours' or 'competes in the market' would be more appropriate. To reach a higher band, you need to use less common lexical items and collocations related to studies and career aspirations, such as 'pursuing a degree,' 'aspiring entrepreneur,' or 'competitive market.' Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

The grammar is quite limited, consisting mostly of simple sentence structures. There are errors in article usage ('chosen Job' instead of 'a job') and awkward phrasing in the final sentence. To improve, try to incorporate complex structures, such as conditional sentences ('If I had the opportunity, I would...') or relative clauses ('I am studying subject X, which I find fascinating').
