Band 7+: What kind of books do you prefer to read?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The response directly addresses the question by specifying a preference for AI and computer books, and it provides relevant elaboration on why these are preferred, linking to the speaker's major and the challenges of programming. The answer is natural and fluent, with good use of discourse markers. To achieve a higher score, consider adding more specific details or examples of books or authors, and perhaps varying sentence structure further. Overall, this is a strong, well-developed response.

The answer is coherent and well-organized, with a clear introduction and explanation. There is minimal repetition or self-correction. However, the phrase 'it supports for my major' is slightly awkward and could be smoother. To improve, consider using more varied cohesive devices and ensuring smoother transitions between ideas.

The vocabulary is appropriate and shows some flexibility (e.g., 'nothing more than', 'valuable time', 'challenging'). However, there is room for more precise and varied word choice. For example, 'AI and computer books' could be more specific, and 'programings and problem-solvings' is not standard usage. Use more precise terms like 'programming concepts' or 'problem-solving techniques'.

There are a few grammatical errors: 'it supports for my major' should be 'it supports my major', and 'programings and problem-solvings' should be 'programming and problem-solving' (non-count nouns). The sentence structure is mostly simple, with limited use of complex structures. To improve, practice using a wider range of grammatical structures, such as conditionals or relative clauses, and ensure accuracy with non-count nouns.
