I think there are two main roles for teachers in the classroom. The first one is an educational role, where they have to pass their knowledge to students and teach them their acquired subject as best as they can. The second role would be a parental role, where they have to ensure that all students are disciplined and follow school rules regarding behavior, clothing, or anything else. They have to teach them how to be good members of society, and they also have to teach them scientific or artistic subjects such as arts, math, or any subject that is the area of expertise of the teacher.
