There are several reasons why things are more expensive in some places than others. Firstly, population growth in large cities and developed areas leads to increased demand for housing and food. This, combined with gentrification practices, can distort the market and drive up prices. Additionally, the cost of living, including basic necessities like food and housing, is often higher in these areas.
