There are a lot of reasons why people go to scenic places in person. The first reason is that they can communicate ideas with local residents that books cannot offer. The second reason is that they can feel the enjoyment when they visit these scenic places. For example, they can breathe fresh air in the mountains, which a lot of people cannot find in books. In addition, I would say that traditional historical places can be another reason why people go to scenic places in person, because they can learn a lot from them.
