Thank you for the question. The reason I want to pursue my master's degree in the Master of Engineering Science in Renewable Energy is that Indonesia is facing the problem of how to achieve the electrification ratio target. At the same time, there is also an issue regarding how to meet the renewable energy target for the nationally determined contributions stated in the Paris Agreement by 2030. Currently, some provinces in Indonesia still have a low electrification ratio, and one of them is North Maluku province, where I am currently assigned in Palo and Opetica, South Africa. In addition to this problem, there is another issue regarding renewable energy and energy transition. The system we have here in North Maluku is actually an isolated system, which brings many problems related to the emissions it produces and the operational scheme we use for this isolated system. Together with these challenges, PT Peleng Pesero, with their commitment, is planning a five-year work plan for our investment budget. In this investment, we need to conduct a feasibility study for each project and each area that is needed. However, from my self-directed study, there is still a lack of direction.
