Honestly, I believe having a satisfying career is far more important than just earning a high salary. Of course, money is essential. It provides us with stability and helps us to meet our daily needs. But after a while, if we don’t enjoy what we’re doing, even a large paycheck can start to feel meaningless. For me, a satisfying career is one which provides you with a sense of purpose. That’s a contributing to something meaningful. For example, my cousin, he worked at a well-paid corporate job, but he left after a few years because he was completely drained and unmotivated. His wits to teaching, which paid much less, but he always says he’s happier than ever. That said, I do think that the financial side is still imperative. Like, I mean, if your salary doesn’t even cover your basic needs, it becomes hard to stay positive or passionate. But if I have to choose one side, I definitely go for satisfaction over a high salary because a passion in the long run could keep you going when money can lose if some. So in conclusion, choosing having a satisfying career is of a great avail.
