I’d say mostly people in my country live in the minimum or block of flats. I personally live here but also people prefer living in detached houses. I know many people who find attractive to live in detached houses.
It depends on the weather because I live in a small town near the beach so people usually prefer living near the sea from happy to May. On the other hand they move to the city when the weather is cold so they usually live in an apartment from October to March.
