Well, I never choose dark colors like black and dark brown because they make the room darker and smaller. However, black is one of my favorite colors, but I don't think I would ever use it to paint my room.
I would choose light colors like white and light blue because they make the room brighter and bigger, and also more comfortable. It feels more inviting, but let's also consider dark colors.

Well, personally, I would definitely choose a beige color because I'm more in sync with colors. I don't like too flashy and bright colors like yellow, so I would definitely pick something abstract.
