What kind of public transport are in your hometown

My hometown is a relatively small city. We do not have a metro system. The only public transportations are taxis and buses. Both are common but most people prefer taxis because they are faster and convenient for getting around. While buses are cheaper, taxis offer a more direct route and sometimes can avoid traffic congestion.
