In my country mostly large, modern and minimalistic houses are popular in rural areas. People prefer large houses with their root courtyard because they have more space. But in urban areas people are more towards modern and minimalistic houses also different architecture style. For example, Spanish architecture style are very famous in urban housing.
In my country, small houses are more popular than apartments. One of the reasons is because of the landscape of our country. The soil is very fragile so the government does not let people build their houses more than four stories. Especially the tradefull incident that happened in 2015 when there was a big earthquake. […]
I think it comes down to where you live. If you live in the countryside, it’s normally a one-story home. Whereas if you live in a metropolis, it’s usually a three- or four-story house because space is at a premium.
People love to stay with their parents so most of them prefer big houses or apartments for accommodation. And nowadays there is a trend in my country. People are making effort to construct multi-story buildings.
