The given line graph illustrate the data of carbon dioxide release by single person in four different countries which includes the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal in period of 40 years.
Overall, it can be seen that in the United Kingdom and in Sweden has the highest release of carbon dioxide in 1967 which were 11 and 9 metric tonnes respectively. Whereas, in Italy and in Portugal stood at around 4 and 1 metric tonnes respectively.
It is clearly evident that, the United Kingdom show gradual decrease over the given period but stood at the first position to emit Co2 in compare to other countries. Furthermore, Sweden shows sharp rose till 1977 and reach above 10 metric tonnes and after that it also experienced decrement and finished at below 6 metric tonnes. On other hand, Italy and Portugal both follows same trends with rising in emission of carbon dioxide. In Italy, exhalation of CO2 by person climb till 1997 and after that it remains below 8 metric tonnes till 2007 and Portugal finished at around 5 metric tonnes.
