The line graph illustrates information on changes of emission of CO2 per person in four different countries, United Kingdom, Sweden, Itelay and portugal from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, what can be seen from line graph is that amount of carbon dioxide emission is increased in Italy and Portugal, whereas in UK and sweden the amount was decreased during the years given.
In the first year, 1967 the preponderance of CO2 emission belonged to United Kingdom( almost 11 metric tonnes ) and Sweden (just more than 8 metric tonnes). Nonetheless, troughtout the period of UK and Sweden registered a period of volatility, declining by almost 3 metric tonnes each in by 2007.
When it comes to Italy and Portugal, there is significan uptick during the period. Fist years, the amount carbon dioxide emission in Italy and Portugal were at the lowest level which 4 metric tonnes in Italy and more than one metric tonnes in Portugal in 1967. However, in the ensuing 40 years, the amount of emission had surpassed, reaching almost 8 metric tonnes in Italy which overtook Sweden. In portugal, the amount registered a huge increase, reaching 7,8 metric tonnes and was equal with sweden.
