Overall, it can be seen that the amount of CO2 emissions which was used in United Kingdom and Sweden showed a downward trend from 1967 to 2007. By contrast, CO2 emissions of Italy and portugal showed an upward trend over all period.
Looking at the United Kingdom and Sweden’s graph in more detail, it was evident that United Kingdom gradually decreased, nevertheless, it was noticeable that it kept the leader through 40 years. The amount of CO2 emissions which was used was Sweden significantly decreased after 1977, which was overtook by Italy in 1987 and matched by Protugal in 2007.
Turning to the two remainig datas set, their trends showed an almost simliar trends. Both Italy and portugal’s CO2 emissions indicated a consistanly increase from 1967 to 1997, and the after, they remainded relatively stable.
