Dear Sir or Madam,

Hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work at the museam.

I will like to do this job at the museum to gain experience. I studied history in both my undergraduate and graduate studies. During my education I got to learn about a lot of historical facts. Working in this museum will help me familiarise myself with what I studied in school. With such knowledge which I will obtain from this work, I will become a better history teacher.

There are certain skills and qualities I possess such as good communication and hygiene respectively which may be useful at the museum. I can properly interact with people and give them great insights on the various items on display. Being a neat person I will ensure all items are dust free.

Given my current job at a school, I will only be available on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 6pm, I will be more than happy to come to work I will be delighted if my application is considered.
