Overall, men spend more time on leisure activities than women. However they do less household duties than women.
Men mostly spend their time watching TV, videos and listening to radio 137 minutes per day. Then comes reading with 18 minutes per day and sports with 15 minutes a day which is almost the least within other activities. Men spend much less time on household activities. For instance, approximately 30 minutes they spend for cooking and washing and almost 25 minutes per day to shopping. For repairing it’s 20 which is a single higher stat in household activities than women. Finally for clothes washing and ironing it’s between 15-16 minutes per day.
Women also spend more time on leisure activities than household activities but it’s less than men. So for TV, radio, and video it is 118 minutes, for reading 19 minutes which is higher than men and for sport only 11 minutes per day. In household activities women generally spend more time than men. For example, approximately 77 minutes for cooking and washing and almost 37 minutes for shopping, while for repairing they spend less time than men and finally almost 30 minutes for clothes washing and ironing.
