The bar chart depicts the proportion of British people donating to charity in 1990 and 2010 between different age group.
Overall, the money giving to charity increases with increase in the age group where the middle age group 36-50 donate highest amount to the social cause, on the contrary, opposite was true for the young age group (18-25).
Regarding the British people donating to the charity in 1990, the young age group between 18 and 25 provide least amount of money with slightly above 15% which is almost doubled of the money, people of 26-35 age donates. The donation amount of middle age people (36-50) dominates all the age group with just over 40% which is followed by the aged people 51-65 and above 65 (35% and slightly more than 30% respectively)
On the other hand, in 2010, youth donate just above 5% and the amount increases as the people get older and reached highest with the 51-65 age group (almost 40%) however, the amount decreases by nearly 5% among elder people (nearly 35%)
