The bar chart illustrates how many percent of British people donating money to charity in five different age groups in two years 1990 and 2010.
Overview, it is seen that 1990 received money more than 2010 except for the people who were over 51 years old. Additional, old people contributed money more than young people.
In 1990, the 36-50 age-group was the top on the list at 42% while people who were from 18 to 25, gave the least with only 17%. The 51-65 age-group stood in second place with 35%, following that around 32% of the over 65s and 31% of the 26-35 ages in turn.
Regarding 2010, the percentage of the 51-65 age group contributed money to charity increasing to nearly 49% which was the highest figure in the chart. Followed which the data for the age of 36-50 and over 65 accounted for about 35%, a slightly decrease compared to the figure in 1990. The age 18-25 was still on the last of the chart with 7%.
