The bar charts compare the number of American, Canadian, and Mexican visitors to four different destinations: Roma, Madrid, Paris, and Liverpool in 2018.
Overall, it is clear that Madrid was the most attractive city for all tourists, while Liverpool had an opposite figure. In addition, tourists from the USA significantly contributed to tourism in the four cities.
As can be seen from the charts, an overwhelming majority of Madrid’s visitors were American, which numbered 100 thousand per year. This was much higher than the 80000 from Canada and the 10000 from Mexico. On the other hand, the figure for Liverpool in 2018 was considerably smaller. In particular, Americans contributed about 50000 visitors, which was twice as high as the figure from Canada and 30000 higher than that from Mexico.
Looking at the chart in more detail, there were 80000 American tourists arriving in Roma, followed by Canadians with 50000. Mexico had the smallest figure, which was only a quarter of that for America. Meanwhile, the pattern for Paris was similar, at around 60000 tourists from each country.
