Overall, the figures for hiking and surfing the Internet significantly increased over the period given, while this pattern for watching TV decreased. Furthermore, when it comes to remaining categories, they fluctuated.
Looking in details, the hiking rate was 20% at the beginning, but over a 30 year it reached a peak of 80 %. In addition, hiking was the one of the activities which saw an increase in the specified period and it was the most popular activity in the final year. Regarding hiking, surfing the Internet saw increase from about 10% to 50% during the period. In terms of watching TV was the most popular activity in 1980 and the proportion for it continued with steady increase.
On the other hand, although the number for theatre was 50% at the beginning, by the end it witnessed a downward trend. Likewise, the number for reading fluctuated as theatre, even, in 2000s this activity accounted for its lowest figure, 20%. But as opposed to theatre at the final year the figure for reading remarkably increased.
