The pie chart demonstrates the favourite leisure activites for teenagers in the United Kingdom in 2009.
Overall, the pie chart illustartes the activities that teenagers mostly prefer such as watching sport, computer games, playing sport, reading and listening to music.
We can see that there is a 41% increase in listening to music which emphasizes that there is a huge number of teenagers in the UK which favourites listening to music over various activites. Moving on to the next activity we can see a dramatic decrease in what teenagers like to do. Reading has reached to 10% in the Uk. This proves that only a tiny group of teenagers like reading, or atleast sees reading as a leisure activity. Moreover, playing sports in the UK has significantly rised to up to 13%, indicating the number or group of teenagers who play sports rather than reading. Furthermore, we can see a huge expansion in computer games as it grew 10% higher over the last period. I’m guessing that teenage boys are the ones mostly playing computer games.Lastly, the pie chart has shown that watching sports is at a 13% which teams up with the teenagers playing sports as well. This comparsion indicates that maybe the only teenagers who are watching and playing sports are mostly boys.
