From the pie chart above, I can see the increase and decrease in transportation through different means of transportation. In the year 1990, people used more of underage railway which occupied 35% of the chat followed by train which occupied 23%. About 22% of cars were also used. Nevertheless, 8% of the people preferred walking while 4% each was allocated to bicycle and motorcycle.
Moving forward, in the 2000 there were changes as to the means of transportation people used. 35%of the people were still using underground railway which shows no changes. There was a 1% decrease in people using train and 2% decrease in people using cars. Furthermore, 4% increase was seen in people using bicycle and 2% increase in people walking. There were no changes as to people using motorcycle.
Furthermore, in the year 2010, 1% decrease can be seen from underground railway, cars and walk respectively. However, 1% increase was seen in motorcycle and 2% increase was also seen in bicycle but no changes was in train.
Using the analysis above, it shows that people prefer using underground railway, train and cars with very little difference in percent in each of them. While insignificant number of people prefer walking, using bicycle and motorcycle respectively.
This shows that the favourite mode of transportation in London is underground railway.
