The given maps illustrates the renovations occurring in the park from 1980 to the present.
Overall, this area has undergone a significant development, shifting from a predominantly nature-based landscape to a more modern environment that caters to humans’ relaxation needs. The most remarkable changes include the improvement of accessibility, the introduction of new amenities, the complete removal entrance gates and the wall, and the reduction of greenery.
Upon detailed analysis, in 1980, the park was enclosed by walls, with two entries, one on the western side and another on the south. There was only on road stretching inside the park, connecting the two entry points and bisecting the park into two distinct areas. The northeastern side of the park was dominated bu a large number of trees. Two flowerbeds were planted in the southern area, opposite each other across the road. Meanwhile, a small pond and benches were situated in the western area.
Turning to the park’s current state, the road now extends further to the north and east. Additionally, a sports zone has been constructed, replacing the former southeastern flowerbed, while the southwestern flowerbed is converted into bushes. The tree area has already been reduced for the establishment of a picnic section, with the addition of picnic tables and barbecue. Noticeably, the only feature that has been left unchanged in the park is the pond and benches.
