Dear Katerina,
It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since we all graduated, and lately I can’t stop thinking about the old gang. I’m writing to suggest we finally organize a proper reunion to mark the occasion, and I’d love your help pulling it together.
I was thinking we could meet at Eric’s Chicken Palace, since it’s basically sacred ground for us. We could start the evening with pre-drinks the way we always used to, then dig out our old yearbook photos while we work through a plate of spicy chicken, just like we did on our last day of college. If we’re all still standing by the end of the night, we could even take some new photos to look back on in another ten years.
There are a few reasons this feels like the right time. Mike, Jasmine, and Rosh are all moving to Australia this year, which got me thinking about how badly we need one more night together in our favorite spot before everyone scatters. It would also be the perfect chance to catch up properly on the last decade; I heard Kevin and Ally eloped last November, and I need every detail as soon as possible!
Since you’re much better than I am at keeping everyone’s contact details, would you mind setting up a WhatsApp group so we can start planning? And because you’re the only one of us with a real eye for photography, it would be wonderful if you could bring your camera along and capture the night properly.
Kind regards,
Mohamed Atef
