Overall, the percentage of people who used the Internet for sending emails and shopping increased between 2015 and 2025, while the figure for studying online courses grew. It is also clear that there was an increase in the percentage of Internet users for downloading films.
As for higher figures, the percentage of Internet users for sending emails increased gradually from 80% in 2015 to about 83% in 2025, whereas the figure for shopping rose dramatically from 40% to 83% between 2015 and 2025. Both figures are expected to rise to 84% and 98%in 2030, which will be the highest figure in the chart, respectively.
Turning to people using for remaining purposes, starting at about 38%, the percentage of Internet users for studying courses increased to 72% in 2025, after which the figure is predicted to reach 79% in 2030. By contrast, despite being higher, at approximately 71% in the initial year, the percentage of Internet users for downloading films fell noticeably to 50% in 2025 and this level is forecast to reach 45% in 2023- will be the lowest figure in the diagram.
