Wearing school uniforms in school is a controversial topic for many people, some believe uniforms should be a must in order to maintain equality among students whereas others argue that uniforms does not allow students to express themselves. Although, this essay strongly supports the argument that uniforms should be used inside of the school.

Every student does not have the privilege and the opportunity to own expensive brands of clothing. However, uniforms can promote equality among students by making everyone wear the same types of clothing. This would prevent bullying and mental health problems that can be caused by class differences between teenagers. Researchers have found that bullying due to wealth differences are way common among private schools rather than in public schools. This is a significant evidence because school uniforms are usually used in public schools whilst private schools doesn’t use them. Moreover, this suggests that uniforms can encourage equality and prevent bullying inside of schools.

Although, many argue that uniforms discourage students from expressing themselves since everyone needs to look the same. Furthermore, these can cause kids to think they can’t dress differently from others. Even though this is indeed true, implementing different kinds of uniforms can fix these problems. For example, a uniform does not have to be just pants and t-shirts it can also be designed to apply for all kinds of styles. Schools implementing these changes can impact both equality and also allow kids to express themselves. That is why uniforms should not be dismissed just because of some changeable problems.

In conclusion, uniforms prevent bullying, mental health problems caused by class differences among students while also promoting equality. Whilst some argue that uniforms does not allow teenagers to express themselves if schools implement changes like different kinds of school uniforms, students can easily express themselves while also promoting equality inside the school.
